We bridge the gap between people and the services they need — housing, employment, mental health support, and long-term stability.

Homelessness has no face, and it can happen to anyone. Our mission is to ensure no one faces it alone.

Our mission is to support people experiencing homelessness by providing practical help, essential resources, and life-changing opportunities. Through partnerships, advocacy, and community action, we aim to connect individuals to the housing, employment, and support networks they need to build a stable and independent future.

HOW WE HELP

We support people through practical, hands-on action:

Housing Support

We help individuals find safe and suitable accommodation, speak with landlords on their behalf, book viewings, attend appointments, and secure deposits, while also working closely with councils and housing associations to ensure clients get the support and housing options they need.

Employment Support

We provide connections to job opportunities, help with CV preparation and job applications, refer clients to partner organizations for training and development, and encourage long-term independence so they can build a stable and self-reliant future.

Essential Support

We connect individuals to job opportunities, support them with CV writing and job applications, refer them to trusted partners for training and personal development, and encourage long-term independence so they can build stable, self-reliant futures.

Community Partnership Support

We work closely with churches, charities, shelters, and local organisations to build strong community partnerships, creating a reliable network of long-term stability and ongoing support for those who need it most.

Back in October 2024 I was made homeless and was sofa surfing at a friend’s home. It was tight and I had to move out. Being emotionally and mentally drained, I sought help from Barbara. She kindly put me in touch with the homeless shelter as well as Barnet Homes to seek accommodation. Unfortunately, this route did not work for me as time was of the essence. Barbara never gave up on me when I was deflated—she went above and beyond to help me find accommodation. She spent days on end calling agents and finding landlords who accepted tenants on Universal Credit. She booked viewings and physically took me to see properties until we found something appropriate. I cannot thank Barbara enough for her support through this testing time, and I surely could not have done this without her!

In 2023, Barbara drove me around helping me with my homelessness. She helped me with my benefits forms, gave me a kettle and toaster, blankets and pillows. She was relentless with her determination to help me—she got me out of the cold and into warmth. I am so grateful. Mentally I was not in a good place, but she tried her very best. I am now in my own home, and she won’t stop until you're helped or housed.
